VILLAGE of TAMKI

Tamki, a village in South Vietnam, was heavily fortified with concrete bunkers. Tamki was protected by Army of the Republic of Vietnam (ARVN) soldiers and by American Army advisors.

A tiny tin shack was constructed in this village for the purpose of disciplining soldiers. Sometimes an ARVN soldier could be seen in this sweat box.
